FURNITURE THAT MAKES YOU FEEL GOOD

Located in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania,  our creations aren't just furniture; they're pieces that evoke emotions and transform spaces. 

We are particularly drawn to an organic approach to furniture building, which allows the raw materials to determine the direction of the piece. This approach, combined with our personal sensibilities, gives your pieces a refined bohemian aesthetic.

What started as a hobby moving from basements to garages along with my family, Timber & Steel embodies the past and present.

Timber

We are able to salvage trees in our local area.  The process of harvesting lumber in this way ensures carbon sequestering while making room for new hardwood tree growth.  While we are not able to exclusively use salvaged wood yet, we try to utilize this resource to the maximum possible extent.

Steel

The second part of our name pays homage to the industry that defined our region for the past century.  Steel drove the population growth and later decline of so many river towns just like ours’.  Steel speaks to our grit and innovation, while reminding us of our need for environmental responsibility.

Every piece we craft embodies meticulous workmanship and environmental consciousness.

We breathe life into salvaged logs, unveiling nature's innate beauty in each unique creation. We convert our wood waste to bio-char and reuse materials whenever possible. Our footprint is small but we hope our impact will be big!
